This demo should be a favorite by anyone into dark death metal. Criminally overlooked, Decrepit played gloomy, morbid death with bleak pitch black lyrics. Running through the spectrum from fast blasting to doomed passages, the dismal mood is never lifted. Soggy sounding guitars match well with the drums that have a heavy rolling swing on everything except the fastest parts. In league with bands like Morpheus Descends and Ceremonium, too miserable and evil for the masses in the 90's. Everything about this recording is oozing with putrid slime under a murky layer of sepulchral horror. Buy this tape or burn all your Incantation shirts.
